The Working Boat Pub
Seas the day at The Working Boat, a proper pub on the waterfront where you can sink a few on Cornish time whilst admiring the view across Falmouth harbour.
Hearty dishes, local brews and harbour views, The Working Boat is the perfect place to quench your thirst and keep the hunger at bay with belly-filling cuisine. From famous boating burgers and locally caught seafood to succulent fish and chips, Sunday lunches and other much-loved classics, lip-smackingly great grub is served up in generous portions 7 days a week at Falmouth’s waterside pub.
Established in 1876 and rebuilt in 2015, the pub sits perched on the edge of Falmouth harbour underneath The Greenbank Hotel. With an authentic Cornish atmosphere and private pontoons to moor up on, it’s the perfect spot to cruise in for a pint (or three) of your favourite tipple.
There’s never a dull day down at The Working Boat, and the pub is always buzzing with events including pub quizzes, live music, local festivals and beach cleans, to name just a few!
Executive Chef Nick Hodges says: “Traditionally the first port of call for those on the working boats after a hard day out at sea, the pub is now open for everybody to enjoy. It offers a cosy and casual dining experience with real ales and local ciders on tap, including our very own Working Boat brew. We hope you can join us for a jar.”
