Knightor Winery and Restaurant
Wine is about place, and ours are from the south coast of Cornwall. The name Knightor evolved from "Crgh Tyr", meaning wrinkled land. With vineyards in the Roseland and Whitsand Bay, at our winery in St Austell Bay we make premium quality still and sparkling wines. The pretty setting is also very popular for weddings, functions, wine tours and lunches.
Our cooks believe that just as wine is about place, so is food, which is best from our wrinkled land of Cornwall. With their own herb and vegetable gardens, the kitchen uses only the best wild and local produce always freshly prepared. Apart from light lunches our Sunday roast, the kitchen also opens up for special Friday Feast nights running throughout the year. Our Feast nights showcase the produce of a local food hero or theme. Expect great home cooking in a friendly and warm environment. Formats vary but often start with drinks and nibbles outside at 6.30pm with a talk from the producer before moving to the threshing barn for the feast at 7.30pm. Tickets for each feast are between £15 and £30 per person. Head to our website for Feast Night dates, further details and to book tickets.

Wine tours and tastings
A great way to find out about wine in general, growing grapes and making wine in the English climate. Good fun too!
Tours usually run from April-October. You can also choose to have a tutored tasting of our wines, or drop in anytime and try what you like, with small measures available of our own wines as well as a selection of other wines from around the world.
Guided tours are £10 per person and run at 3pm Thursdays and 11am Sundays.
This starts with a guided tour through the display vines, discussing the varieties grown in this country as well as those from other regions around the world, with tips on how to grow your own. This is followed by a peek into the winery for a brief introduction to how wine is made, and finally a tasting of our wines. Running time approximately 45 minutes to an hour.
Winemakers Tour - 5pm Fridays - Please get in touch for our 2017 dates and prices
Gain a real insight into how wine is made through a tour with the winemaker. A more in-depth look at all that goes into making wine followed by an informal, tutored tasting of our wines. A good chance to ask any questions you may have on vine-growing, winemaking and how best to understand, choose and enjoy wine! This tour takes approximately one and a half hours.
All wine tours must be pre-booked, please call 01726 851 101 or email email@example.com
