The Plume of Feathers
The restaurant serves up seasonal and ethically sourced food for the freshest and most delicious fare you could want. Offering the best of both contemporary cool restaurant settings in the conservatory or the traditional-chic pub with original oak beamed ceilings and a large wood burning stove at the heart of it all: just think superb quality food cooked with passion.
Gaze down at the natural spring well and grab a cup of freshly ground coffee, or pull up a stool at the bar and chat specialist ale with highly-skilled bar tenders. Our atmosphere is always warm and family friendly with a focus on quality food and service. Large dinner parties are easily catered for in our conservatory, and business breakfasts around the roaring log fire are a favourite. When the sun shines outside, take chilled lemonades and the finest quality ale into the leafy beer garden, complete with palm trees and flowering shrubs.
For all occasions The Plume of Feathers has the flexibility to work for you.
The seasonal menu is designed by Executive Head Chef Andrew Dudley, who takes great care with the provenance of all her ingredients, almost everything is prepared from scratch in-house (bar Baker Toms bread- which gets delivered hot from his ovens). Expect excellently prepared and heartily good food with something of an experienced twist.
