Embracing the lightness and simplicity of style that emerged with ‘new cuisine’ in the 1960s, the restaurant serves fresh produce, creatively prepared. Seasonal menus are based around locally sourced ingredients, cooked to preserve their natural flavours.
The hotel’s proximity to the sea means Executive Head Chef Darren Kerley and his team place a strong emphasis on fresh fish and seafood, while the hotel’s location ensures a plentiful supply of locally farmed meats and seasonal game. Our passionate kitchen team even forage for ingredients in the hotel grounds. Vegan and vegetarian dishes also feature on our menus.

The hotel is the perfect place to meet with friends for a special evening of A la carte dining in the restaurant as the sun goes down, or a sumptuous afternoon tea in the sub-tropical gardens. Food and drinks are available throughout the day with menus offering, lunch, small plates and light bites, all with the option to book your table easily and conveniently online.

Freddie’s Bar is stocked with a wide range of international and artisan brands and serve mouth-watering cocktails each evening. From a legendary Martini to the ever-popular Bramble, the hotel’s skilful bar team will perfectly mix your favourite tipple.
This summer enjoy Freddie’s Hour every Saturday between 5.30 – 6.30pm where you can enjoy two refreshing cocktails for £15.
