Tell us a little about yourself
I moved to Cornwall from London 3 years ago with my Cornish husband. During my career in London I was responsible for running a number of advertising accounts within the travel & tourism industry as an Advertising Agency Account Director which is where I discovered my passion for this sector. Clients included Wales Tourist Board, Air Canada, Tunisia National Tourist Office, Austravel, Butlins and Thai Airways
I am passionate about my adopted county and from my home near Charlestown am thoroughly enjoying getting to know it better.

What do you love most about your job?
Being part of a small, close knit team who all want to shout about Cornwall! Each day there is something new I learn about Cornwall and someone new to speak to. There is absolutely no time to get bored because it’s busy, it’s challenging and it’s dynamic!
What’s vital in your role?
Being organised, listening, and above all being a people person– everyone I speak to is different – from the small business owner running a café right up to the Marketing Manager of a 5 star hotel or resort.
What’s next on the agenda?
Supporting the team to grow the business and looking for opportunities to grow my role within the team – and keep learning about Cornwall.
Where can you be found when not at work?
Mostly enjoying the stunning walks around the Cornish countryside and on the beaches with my husband and three year old Springer Spaniel, Ruby, discovering the pubs and eateries along the way – all of which must of course be dog-friendly!
