Sector meetings

Join similar tourism businesses to discuss the challenges facing your accommodation sector and find out about Visit Cornwall developments and opportunities that you can be part of.

These informal, interactive sessions will be sector specific making them highly relevant to your business needs, customers and objectives.

  • Introduction to the Visit Cornwall website re-launching for 2016
  • Visit Cornwall marketing opportunities and how to get involved
  • Update on the overseas marketing fund for the South West and Cornwall’s lead markets
  • Visit Cornwall’s future priorities
  • Discussion on any additional services that you would like from Visit Cornwall
  • Network with similar businesses

The hotel sector meeting will also welcome Kevin Millington from Acorn Tourism Consulting Ltd for an introduction to T-Stat’s, a research and benchmarking tool which is available for businesses to use free of charge. Meanwhile, the threat and challenges posed by the likes of airbnb and Online Travel Agents (OTAs) will be explored in the B&B/small hotels meeting and Visit Cornwall will invite businesses to debate whether Cornwall should have an OTA free week.

Current and prespective members of Visit Cornwall welcome.
