Cornwall Wildlife Trust are proud to announce the first ever ‘Love Your Beach Day’ on February 14, Valentine’s Day, as thousands of people throughout the county take part in beach cleans. Your Shore Beach Rangers, a project of the Trust and Cornwall College are coordinating the event and calling for everyone to join in and show their love for our precious marine and coastal environment.

Everybody is welcome to take part in Cornwall’s first Love Your Beach Day. Even if you can’t make the bigger beach cleans, one person can still have an impact. To find out more please visit

Get yourself down to your local beach, do a mini beach clean, draw or make a heart, take a picture and get it on social media using the following hashtags; #loveyourbeach #loveyourbeachfrom’nameofbeach’ i.e. #loveyourbeachfromnewquay #yourshorenetwork

Cornwall Wildlife Trust are excited to share the trailer for the up and coming film COALESCE which highlights the beauty and fragility of the ocean and Cornish coastline. The film talks about the threat of plastic pollution and explores the interventions taking place throughout Cornwall to educate and raise awareness. The film focuses on projects throughout Cornwall including the Trust’s very own Your Shore Beach Rangers!

- COALESCE is directed and produced by Vinny Stelzer, Marine & Natural History Photography Student at Falmouth University
