Towan Beach is a quiet, south east facing beach near St Mawes on the Roseland Peninsula. Towan is a sand and shingle beach, with rock pools revealed at low tide. Dog-friendly all year.

Hemmick is a secret sandy beach, south-west facing and only accessed by a steep narrow road with limited parking. Dog-friendly all year.

Porthluney Cove is a privately owned, secluded family beach with a large expanse of golden sand in front of Caerhays Castle and Gardens, which provide a striking backdrop, especially in the spring. Dog-friendly all year.
