Siblyback Lake Country Park + Watersports
The Outdoor + Active Centre offers a range of watersports including sailing, windsurfing and canoeing and provides top quality rainbow trout fishing. Courses for beginners and improvers are readily available, as is self-launch for the more experienced. We also have the UK’s first clockwise cable wakeboarding system, and again cater for beginners right through to the very experienced.
Those wanting to spend a weekend at the site can make full use of the small but friendly campsite on the water's edge. Plus we have added more electric hook-up to our grass pitches.
Permits for rainbow trout angling are available on site, and boats for angling can also be booked.
There's plenty more to do at this scenic lake, including miles of walks, a round lake cycle way (with bike hire), excellent bird watching, Siblyback Segway Experience, high ropes and archery, children's play areas and a cafe overlooking the water, a tempting retreat offering delicious cakes and a variety of light lunches and drinks.
A Tramper all-terrain mobility buggy is now available to hire for use on paths and trails at Siblyback Lake (briefing on its use is required prior to hire). Booking for all the activities is recommended, please contact us on 01579 346522 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
