Atlantic Scuba Dive Centre
The dive centre comprises of a retail shop, service centre, dive school and gas filling station.
In the retail shop, you can buy a wide range of diving equipment, from several manufacturers. They also have all the little nik-naks that are needed on a regular basis. The service centre can deal with regulator servicing for several makes, as well as cylinder testing. The dive school has a wide range of diving equipment, for hire of for use while teaching courses. With multi-agency dive instructors, who can teach a range of courses from PADI, SDI, TDI, RAID and NAS. They can you from a complete novice, or whatever level you are, up to a professional level. If you are already qualified, then you can take one of the many speciality courses available. They can also offer escorted dives, for experienced divers, or try dives for those wishing to give it a go.
The gas filling station can provide air up to 300B, as well as nitrox, trimix and Oxygen. With twenty filling whips, they can cater for the larger demands of dive clubs and groups.
They also operate a scuba diving charter boat, Stingray. Taking divers out to dive sites around Falmouth Bay and the Manacles on a regular basis, also further afield to the Lizard or Dodman points. The boat may be chartered for one or two dives, or for a complete day at sea.
Most weekends they run scheduled boat dives, where individuals get together to go to a predetermined site. This usually comprises of a single dive, coming back to shore for lunch and a surface interval, then a second single dive. Divers can just book on one or both of the dives, whichever suits their requirements. Equipment, including cylinders, can always be hired.
