You can relax and enjoy the beautiful Cornish coastline from the sea. We would love you to bring the children where they will love trying to spot dolphins and seabirds and actually see the fishing boats of Newlyn up close.
Our skipper will explain how our fish is caught, landed and then sent off to market to end up on our plates at home. He will be able to tell you tales about individual fishing boats and the history of this famous port.
Our skipper will take you to the old Penlee Lifeboat House and tell you the tragic story of the loss of the Penlee Lifeboat while attempting a brave rescue on that terrible stormy night many years ago. You will also be able to see Newlyn's current Lifeboat which is berthed in Newlyn Harbour.
We do most of our trips from Mousehole Harbour. We are berthed on the South Quay, look out for our advertising boards in the carparks. Stroll down to the Quay and come aboard "Cormorant" in Mousehole our skipper, Mike, will take you on a wonderful trip down to Lamorna where you can see caves and the coastline from the sea. If the weather and tides are right he will take you over to St Michaels Mount. The children especially love going around Mousehole Island where they can see the seals sunning themselves on the rocks.
To book a trip from Mousehole please ring 07767651726/01736362032 or if you are in the area then come down to the boat and if we have room we will be delighted to take you there and then.
"CORMORANT" is an MCA certified launch which can take 12 passengers, safety is our priority so if you would like your small child to wear a lifejacket during the trip we can supply this. Our skipper is local and will enjoy telling you tales of days gone by.
So if you are coming to Cornwall on holiday why not come to Mousehole or Penzance and climb aboard the "Cormorant" for a boat trip - "Around the Bay and back again" perhaps in time for tea - YOU WILL LOVE IT!
