Clayworks Exhibition
Jenny and Stuart have known each other since the launch of ‘CRAFT’, an IN PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE initiative, which was launched to make changes to the perceptions of Cornwall 1998.
Between them they have pursued many artistic connections linked to the china clay industry over the last 25 years: working commercially on particular bespoke commissions; instigating Cookworthy’s 300th anniversary, celebrating with a touring international exhibition; gleaning insights from on-site residences which have translated through their own personal expression in clay and paint, with joint exhibitions and workshops punctuating those 25 years.
This exhibition is a festive celebration of some of their achievements.
On display in the Roger Preston Gallery, Wheal Martyn, every day from 17 April until 10 July 2023.
Price included in general admission.
