Polkerris Beach
Polkerris beach is a little slice of paradise on Cornwall’s south coast with a sandy shoreline, small village location overlooking St Austell Bay, and a quaint stone quay that protects the bay.
Once a thriving pilchard fishing port, today this tranquil bay and quiet hamlet is a peaceful haven for sunsets, seafood, and sandy days. With water sport equipment for hire and access to first class water sport courses and instruction, Polkerris is a great base for offshore adventure too.
There is a pub and a popular restaurant facing the beach.
Please note: Dogs are not permitted on the beach from Good Friday until 30th September
Metal detectors are only permitted between October and March inclusive.
BBQs and Bonfires are not permitted on the beach.
