Cornwall Christmas Fair at Eden Project
Cornwall Christmas Fair
Thursday 28th November - Christmas Fair
Wednesday 27th November - Preview & Shopping Evening
A magical experience with a doing-good difference, shoppers can browse over 60 stalls from independent makers, drawn from within Cornwall and outside, offering everything from gift ideas, home accessories and wellness products to artisan food and drink. With a percentage of all profits going to Cornwall Community Foundation, fair visitors will also support Cornwall’s communities through their festive purchases. Last year’s event raised almost £80,000 and benefited a range of local charities and initiatives that make a positive difference to thousands of lives across Cornwall, including The Women’s Centre Cornwall, Young & Talented Cornwall, St Petrocs, The Oasis Centre and ClayTAWC.
Highlights to look forward to this year include striking artwork from renowned Cornish potter and artist Paul Jackson, meaningful gifts for the home from Gone Rural and sophisticated jewellery handmade in Cornwall by Chloe Michell. The Cornwall Bakery Food Hall will also be filled with delicious festive food. Expect the likes of Baker Tom’s Christmas breads and mince pies, fruit liqueurs from The Oxton Liqueur Company and chocolate delights by SugarSpice.
The Preview & Shopping Evening will be kicking off at 5pm on Wednesday 27 November with the Porthilly Spirit Cocktail hour, when guests will be greeted with the choice of a Porthilly Spirit Pomegranate Mule, Cornish Gin & Tonic or a non-alcoholic Ruby Spritz.
Another new addition to the Fair is the hand-painted Cornwall Christmas Fair Bauble, painted by Cornish artist Diane Griffiths. Kindly sponsored by long-term supporter Lillicrap Chilcott, the baubles are priced at £12.50 each (10% discount for three or more; 15% discount for nine or more).
Making a welcome return for 2024, The Great Coodes Christmas Cake Stand will be selling a wide selection of festive cakes and bakes home baked by cooks across Cornwall.
The Cornwall Christmas Fair is organised by a team of volunteers and supported by a generous spread of sponsors.
Tickets are £20 and include lunch, a glass of wine and free entry to the Eden Project on the day of the Fair.
Tickets to the Preview & Shopping Evening, priced at £32 include supper and a drink on arrival.
