Makers Market 2024

This is the ideal opportunity to discover perfect festive gifts and meet the talented makers behind them.

This year the fair is on Friday 8th - Sunday 10th November 2024.

Once again we will be at the spacious and welcoming Falmouth & Exeter Universities Penryn Campus.

The Fair is the start of the Christmas season for so many of our makers and customers, and is always the best destination for shoppers to get ahead of the Christmas rush.

As well as providing the perfect opportunity to find unique, affordable and meaningful gifts for Christmas, the event will also include cocktails and live music on the opening Friday night - time to glam up and celebrate! Throughout the weekend we have food stands perfect for lunch/snacks and a cafe for all important teas, coffees and cake. Why not make an evening of it on Friday, or a day of it over the weekend? We have everything you need for a festive outing, the extensive parking is free and the University is locally connected by public transport too.

Friday 8th 6pm - 9pm

Saturday 9th 10am - 4pm

Sunday 10th 10am - 3pm

This year we are happy to be collaborating with The Guild of Ten again, an established guild of makers and popular Truro gallery. They are offering another of our lucky stall holders the opportunity to win £200 and showcase their work in the Guild of Ten gallery window.

We are continuing with our charity partner Penryn and Falmouth Food Bank. We will have a collection point for food items and any monetary contributions, and our hugely successful tombola is returning to raise extra funds for them.

Our intention is that organisers, makers and customers work together to reduce single- use plastics, with no single-use takeaway cups, makers offering paper and eco-packaging where possible, and easily accessible recycling bins for any waste we can recycle.
For the economy and planet encouraging people to shop locally and shop small for their Christmas gifting is important.
