The Zip Wire Safari! For ages 10+

Get to grips with zip-lining in our practice zone and build up courage to take on our larger zip wires, where you can fly round our stunning quarry to your heart’s content, conquering fears with every ride! You’re safely clipped in the whole time and it’s impossible to accidentally unclip yourself. Part way through you’ll also get to traverse across the cliff edge to get from one zip wire to the next, adding to the excitement. Our zip wires are dual, so you’ll have the fun of launching off the platforms and soaring round together!

Follow the ‘Iron Stairway’ and experience Cornwall’s granite quarrying heritage up close as you ascend cliff faces, cross high wire bridges, tackle high challenges and zip back down to ground level, seeing views last seen nearly 100 years ago by the Cornish Quarrymen and enjoying the best of climbing, ropes courses and zip-lining all in one amazing journey across our stunning site. Routes cater for adventuresome 8 year olds through to daring thrill-seekers.

Adventure Holiday Club (outdoor childcare for 6 - 13-year olds):

Treat your children to Cornwall's most exciting childcare! They’ll get to learn new skills, make friends and most importantly, have fun! We’re running courses in climbing, canoeing and adventure games in our quarry! Groups are split based on age and confidence, so the activities will perfectly match their level. Whether your child is an adrenaline junkie or completely new to the activities, we’ve got it covered. These are adventures for kids only, so are perfect if you just want to drop your children off for an epic half day or full day.

The Cornish Barista's Cafe, nature trails and a wild play area:

Park for free and treat yourself to amazing goodies by The Cornish Barista and take in the gorgeous views across our quarry. There are also some fantastic nature trails to explore, as well as a wild play area for under 10's with a climbing wall, slide and swings, plus a muddy kitchen and a sheltered seating area for parents!
