St Just Festival of Light
28th, 29th and 30th December
5pm - 7:30pm
St Just in Roseland Church and Gardens Festival of Light returns this year, promising to be more beautiful than ever.
Described by poet laureate John Betjeman as possibly “the most beautiful churchyard on earth”, the church and gardens will be transformed by a magnificent light display bringing joy, hope and delight to all.
This year will be extra special because it is high tide in the beautiful St Just Creek and the lighting will take maximum advantage of the stunning reflections across the water. As well as the ever-popular community carols, mulled wine and mince pies, there will also be themed photo booths for children to dress up and pose to take their own photos.
Entry is free with donations much appreciated. All donations and proceeds will go towards our plan to upgrade the paths and lighting and restock some plants in the beautiful St Just in Roseland Church gardens - a very special place enjoyed by the Roseland community and visitors from far and wide.
Please note, parking in the church car parks will be limited to Blue Badge holders but there will be ample organised parking in nearby fields with a drop off and shuttle buses. The King Harry Ferry will extend their normal winter hours on all three nights with the last ferry at 7:50pm from Philleigh side.
