A Group Surf lesson, with Escape Surf School is a 2 hour lesson with all equipment included. All our surf lessons are tailored towards your individual level of surfing which we will assess on the day.

Our surf coaching team have years of professional surf coaching experience and we are one of the only surf schools in the area that offer beginner and intermediate coaching on a daily basis. As a Specialist Surf School (teaching only surfing), we focus on being the best and offering all our clients an unforgettable surfing experience.

On every session, we usually have a mixture of beginners and those that may have had 1 or 2 lessons and perhaps more advanced surfers, therefore we will usually have at least 2 or 3 surf coaches working, (one for each level). Group sizes are on average 6 students to 1 surf coach.

### Itinerary

You will meet at Escape Surf School, where you'll be issued wetsuits. After you've got changed into your wetsuit, in our heated changing rooms, we'll then pick up our surf boards and head down to the beach. If you've already surfed, then a Group Surf Lesson is a great way to build on already learned techniques, If you are a complete beginner, we will show you the basics of surfing, to include stance, board position, paddling, safety and much more.

For all abilities, we spend approximately 20 minutes on the beach discussing, technique, skills etc. then the remaining time is spent in the ocean catching waves, with hands-on coaching from the surf coach. Our surf coaches use a very hands on method, coaching from the back of the board which means lots of time surfing waves! All equipment is included and we have a wide selection of surf-boards, suitable for different ages, abilities and conditions. Please note, the lesson time is subject to change.
