A fun, educational and active day out for people of all ages at one of the world's best rock pooling spots in Falmouth, Cornwall.

Have you ever peered into a rock pool and wondered what lies within? Turned over a rock and experienced the joy of discovering a scuttling crab? On a bespoke Rock Pool Project safari – your friendly marine biologist will safely guide you and your family to explore the magical world of the rocky shore. They will share their passion and expert knowledge to introduce you to astonishingly diverse wildlife in a relaxed and fun session.

**_**_**_Your safari starts with a warm welcome, safety briefing and introduction to the astonishing ecosystem you are about to investigate._**_**_**

* _Let's get rock pooling!_

**_**_**_As you wander down the shore towards the waters edge, you’ll learn fascinating facts and ID skills about the many curious creatures your guide will help you to find._**_**_**

* _Discover a new world_

**_**_**_Once near the water’s edge, at low tide, things get really mesmerising. Species normally only found under the sea can be seen and your guide will teach you how it find them._**_**_**

* _Contribute to our research_

**_**_**_Once you are feeling confident, you’ll be able to use our specialist waterproof cameras to record the wildlife you discover, contributing to our citizen science and conservation work! Little ones can join in to with our exciting Rock Pool Bingo cards._**_**_**

* _Free personalised photographic record for everyone in the group!_

**_**_**_After your experience, and perhaps an ice-cream or a swim, we will upload your finds to our system and send you your very own, personal Rock Pool Report as a pdf – the perfect memento of your special safari on the rocky shore.
