To get us in the mood for when summer arrives, here’s Visit Cornwall’s guide to summer drinks (but remember, drink responsibly)

Camel Valley Wine
This award-winning vineyard, just outside Bodmin, produces red, white and sparkling wines that are ranked amongst the best in the UK. These are no ordinary wines, they have been served at state banquets at Buckingham Palace and are available on first class British Airways flights. Try them for yourselves on a tour of the vineyard or book a grand tour with tastings. More Information

Knightor Vineyard
Based in the clay country near to the Eden Project, Knightors vines grow on Cornwall’s south coast, some on the Roseland and some east of Looe. Their wines are a great match for the wonderful seafood that abounds in Cornwall. And if you are looking for something a little different, why not try Knightors vermouth? Delightfully Cornish from start to finish; the vermouths are aromatic and full of bold flavours created from only the finest grapes and a carefully crafted recipe of complex herbs and spices. Polgoon Vineyard
John and Kim Coulson transformed Polgoon Vineyard from a rundown farm on the edge of Penzance into a flourishing vineyard and orchard where they not only produce and grow the vines, but now also have a shop and deli where you can attend tours and tastings. They have also diversified their range to include some unique sparkling products, a Sparkling Aval (Cornish for apple), and an Elderflower Sparkling wine that they also produce for River Cottage. Colwith Farm Distillery
Colwith Farm is a 200 acre family owned farm located between Lostwithiel and Fowey. In 2014 they began developing Cornwall’s first potato vodka, Aval Dor, using Colwith Farm King Edward potatoes. In 2015 they used the vodka to produce Stafford’s Gin along with botanicals foraged on the farm. This was followed by Fowey River Gin in 2016, made in collaboration with Haye Farm Cider. In 018 they opened their distillery to the public and you will be able to do a tour seeing how the spirits are produced from plough to bottle, followed by sampling in the bar. More information

St Austell Brewery
Find out about the history and heritage of the Brewery on an interactive tour, including digital and physical displays and Walter’s Walk where you can take a stroll down memory lane and see how how things used to be done at the Brewery.
Find out how the Brewery and its people played their part in the war efforts, take in the carefully reconstructed Cooper’s yard and get your hands on some of our oldest equipment and machinery from the days of steam brewing.
Explore the Small Batch Brewery and sample some of our delicious beers with our Brewing Ambassadors, plus enjoy a pint of St Austell beer at the Hicks bar or take a bottle home. More information

Healey’s Cornish Cyder Farm
A family-run farm located deep in the heart of Cornwall, near Newquay. They have been making the most of apples for over 30 years, and are now proud makers of an array of award-winning ciders, wines, spirits and preserves.
It’s free entry to the farm, free parking and, of course, free samples of our range of ciders, wines, juices, and jams, all of which are produced on the farm. To get the most of your day out, join a guided tour where you will be taken on a journey through the press house, jam factory, museum, distillery, and cellars, before climbing our cider vat and enjoying an aerial view of our modern cider production halls.
