Cornish Summer Time Feasts
Humongous tables, incredible food and the hubhub of social chatter as strangers become friends, feast nights are extraordinary experiences that quite simply come into their own in Cornwall. They’re all about making the most of light evenings in magical settings and are popping up on cliff tops and in atmospheric gardens across the county. This way to the hottest tickets around...
Canteen Cornwall – Mount Pleasant Eco Park, Porthtown
Rising star of Cornwall’s foodie scene, Ben Quinn of Woodfired Canteen creates a series of truly magical evenings, each with a different theme and inspired by the emotive stories that are shared, the menu is specially crafted. Produce from surrounding farms takes center stage and with part of the evening taking place outside, under falling darkness and twinkling fairy lights, the atmosphere is as enchanted as the food.
Bedruthan Fire and Feast Nights
Oh Bedruthan you are spoiling us - food, sea views, sunsets, there are treats at every turn on the newly inspired Fire and Feast Nights at this much-loved hotel on the north Cornish coast. Mingling with friends over hearty platters of delicious local food followed by fun toasting marshmallows at the fire pit is our kind of thing. We just know that we’re not alone in our lust for a place at the table – who’s with us?
Knightor Winery Feast Nights
A feast night at a winery? Oh yes please, that’s one killer combination! The team at Knightor, which lies in the shadow of the Eden Project, are experts at producing exclusive wines and are acing it in the kitchen too. They’ve got a busy schedule of feast nights lined up right through until December marrying the most incredible menu of food with some of Cornwall’s finest tipples. Expect to see us at more than one!
Hidden Hut Feast Nights
If you haven’t experienced a Feast Night at the Hidden Hut on Porthcurnik beach then you are seriously missing out. They have become somewhat legendary among the locals and there’s always a bit of a scramble when tickets go on sale. They’re like a big family picnic, you take the plates, cutlery and wine, and in the great outdoors they cook up the most amazing feasts right before your eyes. It goes ahead whatever the weather and every feast is different, from the produce cooked to the people you might meet.
Nacarrow Farm Feast and Gatherings
We’re just a little bit in love with Nacarrow, a working family farm set amongst beautiful countryside in the heart of Cornwall. In such easy style it has mastered that “we’re cool but we don’t even care” vibe and just screams quality. Their regular feasts and gatherings are sell-out affairs – who doesn’t fancy the sound of a stroll around the farm, drink in hand, folk musicians playing and wood smoke in the air, followed by what can only be described as a culinary masterpiece? The food is always a showcase for the very best of the season and the atmosphere is always second to none. Perfect!
