Stay in lovely cottages on a 150 acre farm facing south with views down the beautiful Looe Valley. Much of the land is used for grazing horses, a flock of Jacob sheep and cattle owned by a neighbouring farmer. Also on the farm are a whole range of friendly animals that families can help to feed each morning, including ducks, chickens, rabbits, goats, horses, pigs and more. Callestock Courtyard Holiday Cottages, Truro

Callestock is a courtyard of award winning beautifully converted barns on a quiet little dairy farm near Truro and the North Cornish Coast, it is within easy reach of all corners of Cornwall. The dairy farm is home to a herd of 70 Jersey Cows and they always encourage the guests to go out onto the farm to see both the cows and the horse paddock. This year they have signed up to supply the creamy milk to Roddas, which is just down the road from the farm. Their milk gets processed into Cornish Clotted Cream, Butter and fresh Milk, before Callestock buy it back and put it on their welcome trays and into the breakfast hampers that can be pre-ordered, ensuring you get the freshest produce during your stay.

Tolraggott Farm Cottages, Port Isaac

Tolraggott Farm is a 230 acre working dairy farm with the cottages split between there and Dinham Farm which is just 3 miles west sleeping from 2 to 8 guests. They have a dairy herd of Holstein cows and all year round calving, so there are always young calves to see being fed. Parents can also join in with the fun by taking tractor rides with their children. Located in North Cornwall the cottages are in the perfect location for visiting Port Isaac, Rock, Port Quin, Port Gaverne and Polzeath beach. Beacon Cottage farm Touring Park, St Agnes

Small, secluded campsite on a working family farm near St Agnes and only a few minutes walk to sandy Chapel Porth beach. Fifty pitches in six landscaped paddocks with spectacular sea and coastal views. The camping park has been designed around a central yard by the farmhouse with original farm buildings converted into shower facilities, laundry, dishwashing and reception. Cornwall's Agricultural Shows

In early June every farmer in Cornwall, plus 1000s of others, head to Wadebridge to attend the Royal Cornwall Show, one of the last true major agricultural shows in the UK. As well as the animals there's 100's of stalls, events in the arena, a steam fair and food halls etc. Later in July, the Stithians Show is one of the biggest single day shows in the country. As well as these two shows there are other ones taking place up and down Cornwall through out the summer, as well as steam fairs and food & drink fairs, details of which can be found on our What's On pages.
