We know Cornwall has some fantastic coastal scenery, and it has some fantastic places to eat, so why not put the two together and create a list?

This is a very short example of what there is to offer, and might not include your favourites, but we believe these are all worth visiting.

Café Tate St Ives

We are sure you will be inspired by the view from the Tate’s café, at the top of the iconic gallery on the seafront at St Ives. Watch the surfers as they master the waves or look out across the old part of town as you discuss the merits of the art on display. There’s even a rooftop terrace open during the warmer weather, and you can use the cafe without visiting the galleries.

The Port William, Trebarwith Strand

For those walking the South West Coast Path in North Cornwall, the Port William at Trebarwith Strand has always been a favourite. Its conservatory style dining room and outdoor terrace both offer fantastic views of the breathtaking coastline and a much needed place to rest!. At high-tide watch the waves pound the rocks, or at low-tide enjoy the mile-long stretch of golden sand.

The Working Boat, Falmouth

Described as a ‘proper pub’ The Working Boat is situated beside the Greenbank Hotel on the waterfront in Falmouth. With fantastic views across the busy harbour, full of boats of all shapes and sizes, it's a great place to while the afternoon away. With hearty dishes and local brews, the pubs a local’s favourite and is famed for its Sunday lunches.

Lewinnick Lodge, Newquay

Perched on top of the jagged Pentire Headland to the west of Newquay, the restaurant has unrivalled views of the wild Atlantic and Fistral beach. Specialising in seafood, much of it from Cornish waters, there’s not many places better to watch the sun go down in Cornwall, or just enjoy the sea views.

The Sardine Factory, Looe

Just one of only 22 new restaurants in the 2020 Michelin Guide to be awarded a Bib Gourmand, recognising good quality cooking at an affordable price of £30 or less for three courses, the restaurant looks out over Looe’s busy harbour and, as the name implies, is situated in a former fish processing factory with a heritage centre and indoor climbing wall downstairs.

Blue River Table, River Fal

You can't get a better view of the water while eating than on board a boat! The Tethra is a beautifully restored Cornish motor launch where you can experience the ever-changing scenery of the local Cornish creeks around the Fal estuary as they pile the table high with a feast of local produce and sharing platters all freshly prepared onboard.

The Beach Hut, Watergate Bay

Laid-back, breezy and modern, the relaunched Beach Hut at Watergate Bay blends easy beach dining with fantastic views over one of the largest stretches of sand in Cornwall. Open every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, when you just might catch an awesome sunset like the one in the photo?

Rockpool Beach Cafe, Gwithian

A relaxed, contemporary beach bar, ideal for the whole family and dogs. The Rockpool is the perfect stop off after a beach walk or a surf. A large outside area amongst the sand dunes is great if your still wet from a surf, or you want to let the kids run around and enjoy themselves. We're told the foods as good as the view!
