Watch the sunset or stargaze in Cornwall
Nothing quite beats the romance of watching the sunset, and in Cornwall there are a number of stunning spots to see the last glimpse of the golden sky for the day as the stars begin to come up to twinkle above you. One of the best places to watch the sunset is the coastline west of St Agnes where the magnificent 360 views offers an idyllic location to enjoy the sun setting over the sea, with the ruined engine houses of Wheal Coates adding interest to your photographs. If you want to stargaze, head for Bodmin Moor, which has International Dark Sky status, meaning there is no artificial light nearby to spoil your view of the night sky. You can also watch the autumnal sun setting across the water on one of the many spectacular beaches all the way down the north Cornish coast from Bude to Sennen Cove including Watergate Bay (pictured above)and Perranporth.
Try something different
How about kayaking up Frenchman's Creek on the Helford as the leaves fall all around you? or exploring follies in Mt Edgcumbe Country Park? Take part in a photography workshop on the Lizard? ... or, why not do some aerobatics high in the sky over Bodmin Moor?
Visit Cornwall this autumn and you'll not only fall in love with our beautiful scenery but you'll fall in love with each other all over again!
