Welcome to our new state-of-the-art distillery in the grounds of the historic Treguddick Manor, Launceston. Treguddick is part of the English Spirit family who are one of the UK’s original artisan distillers, we’re proud to open the doors to our pioneering distilling as a destination for epicurean excellence; showcasing our superb range of spirits and distilling the very best of what the South West has to offer.
We invite you to take one of our Tour & Tasting experiences, where you can revel in the intricacies of making each spirit from scratch, one of a few English distilleries to do so, in our copper pot still. Visitors can book onto the ‘General Tour’ which runs seven days a week, or spirit specific ‘Rum Tour’ and ‘Gin Tour’ which each run twice a week.
Each tour lasts for ninety minutes, where you’ll learn about our dedicated distillation process. From raw ingredients to bottling up; you’ll gain a great understanding of our commitment to producing quality spirits. This is followed by a guided tasting, where you’ll have the opportunity to sample a wide range of spirits, including Britain’s original rum, our glorious Dr J’s Gin, mouth-watering vodkas, smooth single malt and divine fruit liqueurs. When visitors book on a distillery tour and tasting, they will also be invited to wander around the geodesic domes installed on the west paddock of Treguddick. Inspired by the Eden Project, a local landmark. The domes will house over 30 varieties of plants and botanicals, growing fresh produce used in the spirits and restaurant, offering visitors a sensory experience like no other.
With a unique bar, and restaurant you can indulge in our day-to-day culinary delights or attend one of the extraordinary events. Treguddick Distillery makes for an ideal destination whatever the Cornish weather. Relax in the glorious sunshine on the patio and enjoy a tipple from our fully stocked bar, with over 40 different spirits and liqueurs all distilled by us, making it one of a kind! Or sit inside, and enjoy our range of cake, delicious lunches, or afternoon tea; the restaurant champions locally sourced, seasonal ingredients of the highest quality.
A trip to Treguddick isn’t complete without a trip to the distillery shop, where you’ll be able to shop our range of rums, gins, vodkas, single malts, liqueurs and limited-edition bottles, which aren’t available for purchase anywhere else!
