St Mawes & The Roseland

Set in an Area of Outstanding natural beauty, St Mawes and the Roseland is one of Cornwall’s best kept secrets. The pace of life on the Roseland slows down as you enjoy the stunning scenery, secluded beaches and an abundance of achievable walks.

The Duchess of Cornwall; our newest ferry was handcrafted by local boat builders Cockwells in 2008 and is the first ferry to be constructed in traditional wood for over a generation. She has completed the crossing over 50,000 times! Capacity is never a problem as each ferry can carry up to 100 passengers and covered seating is provided in case we get some of that ‘Cornish Liquid Sunshine'.

The St Mawes Ferry can be used with the Fal Mussel Card, a money saving travel card allowing discounted and unlimited travel around the Fal River on a network of ferries, buses and trains.
