Mousehole Heritage Walks
A chance to explore the quaint village of Mousehole on foot. Wander through it’s narrow streets and find out more about its fascinating and curious history - you definitely won’t be disappointed!
There is so much more to learn about the village of Mousehole - amazing pieces of history, legends, local folklore and yarns, all await its visitors around every corner.
With cobbles, narrow streets, stone washed cottages crawling up the steep hills, a perfect harbour, two proper pubs and a hotel, gift shops, galleries, restaurants, cafes, boat trips and plenty of places to stay, Mousehole is unspoilt and feels incredibly safe.
Walking around the streets of Mousehole, you certainly get a real feel for the village and can see some amazing things, but the chances are you aren’t really catching everything.
This is the beauty of joining a walking tour - you get to explore somewhere new, admire the scenery and learn some fascinating facts along the way - all this and more from a Mousehole girl born and bred who is always excited about this truly special village.
Group heritage walks will leave from the large car park as you enter Mousehole (there is a bus stop nearby) and will take about 1.5 hours - private guided walks are also available and bookable at a mutually agreeable time.
You can phone or email to book your walk (advisable) or join me at the car park - if I have room you can come along. Hope to see you soon!
Sunday mornings at 11.30am - Wrecks, Lifesaving and Lifeboats.
Tuesday afternoon’s at 2.30pm - Village history
A walk from Mousehole to Paul and return through fields and over stiles is also available - not recommended for anyone with mobility problems. Please call for further details and to book.
