Charge, Motionhouse’s incredible new multi-media show is about energy. From the electrical charge that sparks human life, to the beating of our hearts and the memories we make. Six performers use dance and acrobatics to delve deep into the human body, tracing the incredible story of energy in our lives. In an exciting fusion of art and science, digital projections create a world on stage where dancers and images interact seamlessly, bringing to life stories of energy in our own bodies and humans as energy manipulators.

Belle & Sebastian


The fabulous Indie pop/folk rock band, Belle and Sebastian will appear at Hall For Cornwall as part of their 2018 UK and European tour. Included in the evening will be their recently released song, We Were Beautiful. Attuned to human pathos, the song reflects a slice of life and all of the pain, joy confusion and love that comes with it. This is an evening of music not to be missed!

English Touring Opera: The Marriage of Figaro


Olivier Award-winning English Touring Opera presents an energetic new production of one of the world’s most beloved operas, Mozart’s classic comedy The Marriage of Figaro. During the course of one eventful day, Figaro and Susanna must overcome every obstacle put in their way by Count Almaviva and his cronies before they can finally be united as man and wife. Blanche McIntyre (Tosca, 2017) returns to direct this most warmhearted of operas, equally acclaimed for its sublime music and huge sense of fun.

English Touring Opera: Il tabarro/Gianni Schicchi


Puccini’s one-act operas Il tabarro and Gianni Schicchi could hardly be more different: one is a moody romance ending in a grotesque murder on a barge in Paris, and the other is a sparkling comedy about a family inheritance in Florence. First performed in 2011 to great critical acclaim, this double bill shows Puccini at his finest as a master of the theatre that speaks to the heart.

Sung in Italian with English surtitles.

Lesley Garrett, CBE, is Britain’s best known soprano, regularly appearing in opera, music theatre, in concert and on TV. Here she introduces a joyous selection of favourite solos and duets from operas and musicals including Don Giovanni, The Magic Flute and Kiss Me Kate and the celebrated Habanera and Toreador’s Song from Carmen.

Following its smash hit run in London, Bill Kenwright’s production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s Evita returns. Telling the story of Eva Peron, wife of former dictator Juan Peron, Evita follows Eva’s journey from humble beginnings through to extraordinary iconic status.

Starring two of musical theatre’s most outstanding leading performers; Madalena Alberto (Les Misérables) returns to the role of Eva, a role she received critical acclaim for in the 2014 West End revival. Joining her in the role of Che, fresh from the recent West End production, is Gian Marco Schiaretti (Tarzan). Featuring some of the most iconic songs in musical theatre including, Don’t Cry For Me Argentina, On This Night of a Thousand Stars and Another Suitcase in Another Hall.
