Welcome to Penhale Caravan & Camping Park

Close to sandy beaches in an area of outstanding natural beauty and the Eden Project, with many scenic walks, Penhale is perfect for exploring the county. This friendly, family-run park, established in the early 1960s, has 11 static caravans - with plenty of space for tourers and tents - all with stunning sea views across St Austell bay.

Set on a working organic farm covering 400 lush acres of countryside just outside the fishing village of Fowey, the surrounding countryside inspired many of Daphne Du Maurier's world famous novels.

In Fowey, wander quaint cobbled streets and discover quirky independent shops, bars and restaurants. Our enviable location is a popular choice for camping in Cornwall as we are close to some great attractions, such as the Lost Gardens of Heligan, making it a great base for your Cornish holiday. Penhale is a haven for campers and wildlife alike and it’s the ideal escape from the treadmill. Enjoy the breathtaking coastline and take to the water yourself (surfing, sailing, kayaking, fishing - the list is endless!) or simply relax on a choice of of beautiful beaches with a drink in hand. We look forward to welcoming you to Penhale.

We have stayed here twice on different pitches and both had superb views. The facilities are spotless and there are fresh cut flowers in the toilet block every day - a nice touch. We did a costal walk on one day and into Fowey on another day and had we been there longer we would have done a lot more walking. This is a campsite I can highly recommend. Access is very easy and once there you can walk to Fowey for supplies.
