Access to and use of the Visit Cornwall website (the 'Website') is provided by Visit Cornwall to you (the 'User') subject to the following Terms and Conditions (the 'Terms and Conditions'). In using this site the User indicates his agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. In agreeing to be bound by the Terms and Conditions, the User agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of the other documents referred to and incorporated into these Terms and Conditions, and the expression 'Terms and Conditions' shall be deemed to include these other materials.
Changes to the website
The User acknowledges and accepts that Visit Cornwall may from time to time alter any aspect of the Website, or any of the services or products provided through the Website, as it thinks fit and without notice to the User. Further, Visit Cornwall may alter the Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. The User accepts that it will have no claim for breach of contract or otherwise in respect of any such alteration.

Competitions
Promoter

Eligibility
Competitions are open to individuals aged 18 and over, except employees of Visit Cornwall, their immediate families, and associated agencies. Participants must be legal residents of the United Kingdom.
Entry Requirements
- Only one entry per person unless otherwise specified
- Entries must be submitted through official channels during the competition period
- Late, incomplete, or fraudulent entries will be disqualified
- By entering, participants confirm all information provided is accurate
Selection and Notification
- Winners will be selected randomly or by judging panel as specified for each competition
- Winners will be notified within 7 days of selection via the contact details provided
- If a winner cannot be contacted within 14 days, an alternative winner may be selected
- Winners may be required to provide proof of identity and eligibility
Prizes
- Prizes are as described and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternatives
- Visit Cornwall reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value
- Winners are responsible for any taxes or additional costs associated with prizes
- Prizes are non-transferable
Data Collection and Use
Essential Competition Processing: By entering this competition, you consent Visit Cornwall and any authorised prize provided (specific to each competition) processing your personal data solely for the purposes of administering the competition, including verifying eligibility, selecting winners, and delivering prizes. This processing is necessary for the performance of the competition.
Optional Marketing Communications: You may separately choose to consent to receive promotional communications from Visit Cornwall and any authorised third party providing a competition prize by ticking the opt-in box provided. This consent is:
- Freely given and entirely optional - refusing will not affect your competition entry
- Specific to marketing communications from Visit Cornwall and authorised third party
- Separate from your competition entry
Third Party Data Sharing: We will only share your data with third parties where necessary for competition administration (such as prize suppliers for delivery purposes) unless specific authorisation has been granted. We will not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes unless you provide explicit separate consent.
Your Rights: Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

- Rectify inaccurate personal data
- Erase your personal data (though this may affect prize delivery if you win)

Withdrawal: Marketing consent can be withdrawn at any time by emailing industry@visitcornwall.com or using unsubscribe links. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and will not affect any processing based on consent before withdrawal.
Legal Basis: Competition administration is processed under Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR (performance of contract). Marketing communications are processed under Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR (consent) where you have opted in.
Retention: Competition data will be retained for 3 years after the competition ends. Marketing data will be retained until you withdraw consent or we no longer have a legitimate need to process it.

General Conditions
- Visit Cornwall reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend any competition
- Participants agree to the use of their name and image for promotional purposes
- Visit Cornwall accepts no liability for technical failures, lost entries, or other issues beyond our control
- These terms are governed by UK law
Disputes
The decision of Visit Cornwall regarding all aspects of competitions is final. No correspondence will be entered into regarding competition results.

Submission of images/content to this website is open to all.

Images should be submitted by email to industry@visitcornwall.com and labelled with the name of the submitter. Image files must be 72 dpi, be at least 1080 pixels wide and between 1MB and 3MB in size. Entrants should include their own name and email address, we regret we will not be able to use any images supplied to us smaller than the stated size or without details of who submitted.

All images submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them. It is the responsibility of each person submitting an image to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws. The person submitting an image must warrant that the image they are submitting is their own work and that they own the copyright for it. Any images submitted overprinted with text such as names or email address will not be published.

Copyright in all images/content submitted remains with the respective entrants. However, by submitting an image/content to www.visitcornwall.com, the submitter grants a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual licence to Visit Cornwall/Cornwall Development Company to feature any or all of the submitted images/content in any of their publications and their websites, plus authority to allow third parties to use images/content subject to application to Visit Cornwall.

User conduct
The User warrants that in its use of the Website it shall:

The contents of the Website (the 'Contents') are provided to the User by way of general background information only. The User should not rely on the accuracy of any part of the Contents.
The website contains sponsored adverts which are marked by the ‘You’ll Love’ banner. The website also contains blog stories, and where named a ‘sponsored feature’ these are paid-for advertorial features.
Only those establishments which have a VisitBritain or AA Quality Assurance mark have been visited by Quality in Tourism/AA inspectors. All prices mentioned were supplied by the operators themselves and to the best of our knowledge are correct. Visit Cornwall reserves the right to amend prices from time to time.
The User accepts and acknowledges that Visit Cornwall, its officers, employees, agents, representatives of any sort, and advisers shall not in any way be liable for any damage, loss, costs or expenses arising directly or indirectly from the User's downloading of any of the Contents from the Web Site, or its reliance on or use of any of the Contents for any purpose.
