Coastal, colourful and creative—since 1959.
Just above Mawgan Porth beach, Bedruthan is a cliffside outpost of art and nature. An unexpected Scandi Modern retreat, combining bright Danish design with Californian architecture and Cornish sea air. Bedruthan was always designed as a place for making the most out of these calm coastal days—and sixty years on, we’ve stayed true to that original, easy-living ideal.
Food
Two restaurants serve good-natured, sustainable food: The Wild Café is for casual post-surf cooking, while the smaller Herring is for more intimate evenings of slowly-perfected food. New in 2021 is Bakery Cornwall—our warm, fresh-from-the-oven love letter to artisan pastries and good coffee.
Spa
A large communal spa offers a relaxed place of wellbeing, featuring a caldarium, steam room, sauna and holistic treatments (or try Nordic thermal therapy in the outdoor Sensory Spa Garden). Holistic treatments are given by our talented team of therapists.
Art
The hotel’s art gallery exhibits new Cornish art with a lean towards the abstract, keeping in touch with the nearby artist communities.
