About Us
Heritage and contemporary comforts blend beautifully at The Old Custom House. Standing proudly as one of Padstow’s historic stone buildings, this charming bolthole has long served as a community pub, uniting the local fishermen with residents and visitors over pints and hearty homecooked meals.
Today, it also offers comfy accommodation overlooking one of the town’s finest views. There are 23 bedrooms, each wonderfully equipped with en-suite bathrooms and mod cons, from flat-screen TVs to luxury beds. Many character features have been lovingly restored throughout the king, double, and twin rooms.
Self-catering accommodation is also available in the neighbouring barn. Sleeping five across two bedrooms, this sumptuous apartment boasts estuary views and a well-appointed interior that’s both spacious and cosy.
The Old Custom House’s large bar area and sunny conservatory are perfect for families and romantic dates. Stylish pub grub is served alongside enticing specials, each crafted from the finest and freshest of local ingredients. What better way to wash it all down than with one of St Austell Brewery’s award-winning beers or wines?
Padstow is a much-cherished corner of Cornwall’s north coast. There’s a wealth of things to see and do in the town itself, from quaint shops to boat trips and glorious stretches of golden sand. The Camel Trail, a scenic hotspot for cyclists and walkers, begins here and continues all the way to Bodmin.
