The Old Inn

Welcome to The Old Inn

The Old Inn was used as an alehouse for the visiting sailors to buy their beer brewed on the premises and some say there was a clandestine ‘still’ to make gin out the back, under the cliff! It is now a modern cottage, with 3 bedrooms, large living room, kitchen, bathroom and cloakroom.

The roof was raised in the 1960s, and there have been modernisations ever since. With 3 star Visit England status, Families Welcome and a Gold Award, this cottage provides everything you should need for a comfortable holiday, including wifi connection to the internet.

Charming Stone Cottage in Pentewan’s Tranquil Valley

Nestled in a peaceful valley on a quiet, no-through road, our terraced stone cottage is just 200 meters from the village square, with the quay and beach beyond. Pentewan Beach, a wide sandy stretch with hidden coves, remains largely unspoiled and offers family-friendly facilities and water sports in summer.

The village pub serves meals and features a lovely outdoor seating area overlooking the quay. Nearby, discover other picturesque bays, beaches, and harbors, some home to majestic tall ships. Pentewan also has cosy cafés and a small shop for your convenience.

This cottage is wonderful. Surprisingly spacious with all of the amenities (and more) that you need. It's clear expense hasn't been spared in the preparation and maintaining of the home. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The cottage, just a few minutes walk from the beach, is set within the beautiful village of Pentewan which has everything you need from plenty of delicious food options, cafes, and convenience stores. I couldn't recommend this home more!
