Cornish artist Amanda Richardson hand dyes fabrics to create textile collages of details of landscape: rocks, water and plants. Her studio near the Land’s End is surrounded by a garden that provides inspiration for her art.
These dynamic works vary with changing light continually presenting a fresh experience for the viewer.
Amanda has held one-man exhibitions across America from New York to California and in Britain from Cumbria to London and Cornwall. She also maintains long-standing relationships with galleries with which she shows on an ongoing basis.
Her art can also be seen in her working studio in the Penberth Valley near the Land’s End, surrounded by an exuberant garden that provides much of the inspiration for her art. Visitors are welcome by appointment.
