5D Super Sim Theatre
The anticipated new 5D experience, now open to the general public will continue to show throughout the summer season. A magical tale and multi-sensory journey, that follows an accident-prone clockmaker, as he travels through time; inside one of his spectacular clocks.
Inspired by NASA technology, the £1.5m 5D Simulator allows riders to experience movement, sound, 3D vision and sharp bursts of air throughout. The purpose-built balustrade in the theatre also allows smaller guests to experience the 3D film from the comfort of static chairs.

With 32 chairs suspended above the ground and reaching heights of up to 9 metres, the Wave Rider is an exciting thrill ride suitable for anyone over 92cms. Our carousel rotates at 15°, so the seats soar into the air for an exhilarating aerial experience.
Coco and Jambo are our two meerkats, who’ve taken up residency in our 90 square metre enclosure. See the meerkats up close through the glass, and learn more about them with daily feedings and talks at 2pm and they both love an audience. Fully grown meerkats can weigh up to 2.5kg and measure 50cm in length.
One for our competitive guests, Downpour Derby is a water game to soak your opponent. The aim of the game is to pump the water as fast as you can, fill the downpour bucket first and watch as your rival gets drenched. It’s a great game for children of all ages and is perfect warm-weather entertainment.
Leafcutter ants and Bug Wall
Our Bug Wall and Leafcutter ants are fascinating to watch. The ants roam their glass enclosure, transporting leaves that are at least 20 times their own body weight. Did you know they have powerful jaws which vibrate a thousand times a second? They slice off pieces of leaf which are taken back to their nest to use as compost. Learn more about these creature in the Pets Corner building where they join a whole host of animals from creepy crawlies to rabbits and guinea pigs.
