Porthpean Beach
Charming and picturesque, Porthpean Beach on the south coast is a small stretch of golden sand surrounded by rugged cliffs and backed by rolling green farmland. This popular local beach it’s an idyllic sheltered cove for swimming and paddling near the historic village of Charlestown.
Toilets are available.
Dogs are welcome on this beach except between July 1st and 31st August (10am-6pm) when a seasonal dog ban is in place. (2023)
Access to the beach is on a steep incline from the privately run car park.
