Mousehole Craft Fair
Welcome to the long established and much loved Mousehole Craft Fair, famous for being packed to the rafters with creative talent, and lively atmosphere. Open every Monday and Tuesday 10-5, from Easter until the end of October.
Discover tactile pottery and light- catching glasswork, striking lino and textile art, locally made skincare and candles, evocative photography, quirky dog accessories, rustic woodwork, elegant pearl, gemstone and silver jewellery, hand-woven textiles and much more - and meet the people who made each individual craftwork.
Our community of traders are passionate about their crafts and happy to chat about their artisan skills to visitors, giving an opportunity to meet real Cornish makers and take an authentic piece of Cornwall’s magic home with you.
To find us, stroll around the famous circular harbour (immortalised in the best-selling book The Mousehole Cat), then wander up the picturesque Duck Street, lined with traditional fishermen’s cottages and flowers to discover the historic Solomon Browne hall, a former pilchard net loft with original beams and wooden floors, atmospheric replica ship lights along with a genuinely warm welcome to our fair.
Expect upbeat music, wonderful crafts and shared laughter. We like to bring the sunshine to your day (even if we can’t guarantee it outside…) and offer free entry, family and dog friendly visiting, and easy step-free access.
Mousehole itself is easily accessed by car, foot or public transport and offers a beautiful harbour, historic houses, top eateries and pubs, quaint cobbled streets and alleyways in an unspoilt village described by Dylan Thomas as “the loveliest in all England” and by Conde Nast Traveller as one of the top seaside towns to visit in the UK. A visit to our delightful craft fair provides the perfect way to complete your exploration of beautiful Mousehole.
