Victory and Reflection: Marking 80 Years Since VE Day at Bodmin Jail
Victory and Reflection, opening 15 May to 11 November 2025, marks the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe.
The exhibition brings together rare artefacts, striking local photography, and deeply personal wartime stories – many never seen by the public – exploring both the Cornish and international experience of VE Day. Hosted in the evocative setting of Bodmin Jail, highlights include: Uniform and medals from the 5th Battalion of the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry
