A new chapter in Cornwall’s leisure scene has begun with the opening of Halwyn, a vibrant lifestyle destination blending sport, food, and countryside charm. Nestled on a family-run farm near Crantock, Halwyn is home to the county’s first Trackman driving range, a landscaped 12-hole mini-golf course, and a fire-led feasting barn — all wrapped in a stylish, relaxed setting.

Set against sweeping views of the Cornish countryside, Halwyn offers an experience for all ages. Visitors can tee off like the pros with state-of-the-art Trackman technology across 15 bays, enjoy chef-driven seasonal dining, or simply soak up the atmosphere on the beer garden.

Feasting Barns

At the heart of Halwyn is its feasting barn — with restaurant led by chef Matthew Haggath, whose background includes the Savoy Grill and Idle Rocks. His menu is rooted in flame, flavour, and fresh local produce.

Trevowah Herd pedigree beef reared on the family farm by Cousin Tim is championed across the restaurant menu.

The kitchen boasts a large charcoal Josper grill and smokey flavours are packed into as many dishes as the kitchen dare.

Whether you’re a scratch golfer or a total novice, Halwyn’s 15 Trackman bays cater to all abilities. Players can order tasty food truck style dishes and drinks straight to their bay.

We encourage you to share a bay with a group of friends and family and play the various game modes whilst music plays in the background. This is a truly social led experience.

The best thing about the driving range is that it’s an all-weather activity where players can shelter from the north Atlantic weather whilst still enjoying an outdoor activity and sucking in that fresh salty air. Golf lessons and private tuition with professional instructors is also available at the facility.

Mini-Golf

Carved from Cornish granite, railway sleepers and playfully woven through landscaped gardens, this mini-golf course is like non other.

Families and casual visitors can enjoy the 12-hole course all year round. The course is lined with Festoon Lights and their ambient glow allows gameplay to continue after dark.
