Discover the former home of the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry, visit the regimental cells and impressive armoury stocked with historic weaponry. All visitors can expect a warm welcome at Bodmin Keep – as well as the impressive collections, you’ll find family friendly activities including military dress up, bugle playing and arts and crafts. Explore the Cold War-era Regimental cells, and march up the stone staircases in the footsteps of the soldiers of days gone by. The museum is open seven days a week during school holidays, and holds various special events throughout the year – visit the museum’s website for full details.

The museum is fully dog friendly, and has a gift shop, picnic and refreshment areas and vintage & second-hand bookshop. An extensive library and archive is available for those wishing to make a research enquiry, and the museum’s volunteer research team are happy to take family history enquiries, although please do email or telephone in advance of your visit.
