National Trust Tintagel Old Post Office
This 14th century house, one of Cornwall’s oldest domestic buildings, has many stories to discover, including it’s time in the late Victorian era as the village’s letter-receiving office, after which it became known as the ‘Old Post Office’. Saved from demolition by a group of local artists, it became one of the Trust’s earliest acquisitions in 1903. Visitors can wander around the house and the garden offers a welcome retreat from the bustling village.
