Siblyback Lake

Siblyback Lake is surrounded by the striking Bodmin Moor offering plenty of opportunities for the whole family to go wild.

Visit the children’s play area overlooking the lake or enjoy the plentiful open space for picnics, running and general fun and games with the children.

The 5km circular trail is perfect for walking and cycling whilst enjoying the sights and sounds of the lake. Why not treat yourself to a slice of cake from the popular Olive & Co?

There’s a campsite with a choice of electric and non-electric pitches for tents and motorhomes, with facilities including modern showers and changing rooms, toilets, disabled facilities, washing up facilities, a parent and baby wash area, waste disposal and recycling facilities.

Siblyback is part of an International Dark Sky Landscape meaning it is perfect for a spot of stargazing. Wrap up warm, cosy up with a hot chocolate and fall in love with the sky at night.

Whether you're joining us for the day or staying a little longer, there is a wide range of activities for all ages at the lake, including:

  • kayaking
  • canoeing
  • paddleboarding
  • trout fishing
  • watersports equipment hire
  • self-launch your own equipment

Want to try something new with the family? The lake is also a popular fly fishery. How many trout will you catch?

Siblyback really has something for everyone. It’s your outdoors – come and explore!

The activity centre is open May - September.
