Whether it is just for a special day out or a long weekend away, its a lovely way to discover Cornwall and experience the delights of travelling in a convertible classic car.
Perranwell Garage is a Classic Car specialist located centrally in Perranwell Station, a small village on the Maritime Line between Falmouth and Truro. We are a family owned business that specialises in maintaining, restoring and hiring out Classic Cars in Cornwall.
Our cars are available to hire out all year round, and whilst the Autumn and early Spring the weather can be a little unpredictable, when the weather is good it often provides some of the best driving days whilst the roads are quieter off season.
Classic cars available to hire
We have both two and four seater Classic cars available, including an MG Roadster, a Morris Minor Convertible and two Morgan sports cars. All cars come with folding hoods and have manual gearboxes.
On the day of hire a full handover is provided to show you the controls and importantly how to take down and erect the hoods. For the duration of the hire your own car can be left at the Garage premises if required.
Drivers should be aged between 25 and 73. The price for a one days hire starts from £201 including VAT and insurance for one driver. Additional drivers can be added if required. For more information on costs, availability and terms and conditions click the link below.
One day scenic Cornish drives
Our central location between Truro and Falmouth provides a great start point for a day out in a Classic Car. We are within easy reach of the North and South Coasts and it is possible to venture down to the furthest westerly point in Cornwall (including Lands End) and return within the day.
To give you some inspiration we have created three one day circular route maps which take in three very different aspects of Cornwall. These include a route to the far West which takes in Marazion, Lands End, Cape Cornwall and St Ives, a route to the North which takes you to Padstow, Port Isaac returning via Lanhydrock. The third route takes you on an adventure around the Lizard and then onwards to the beautiful Roseland Peninsular.
Classic car hire for special occasions
To add something extra to your special day or occasion why not rent a classic Car. All our cars are available for self drive hire but in addition we can offer a chauffeur service with our two four seater cars, the Morgan 4 Seater and the Morris Minor Convertible.
