NEW – TOLGUS EXHIBITION
You can also explore the Tolgus Mill (free entry), Cornwall’s only remaining Victorian tin mill and be whisked back to the past in this unforgettable heritage site. For a number of years we have been regenerating the mill to once again produce tin, which we now combine with silver and gold to create unique pieces that will keep our proud Cornish heritage alive for generations.
We are lucky enough to be the custodians of this ancient Mill, in which tin is processed to be added to our jewellery. It's the last working tin streaming mill of its kind and we are delighted to invite you to discover the processes, the machines, artefacts and human stories attached to our rich Cornish heritage.
Months of research, unveiling treasures and discovering what it was really like to work at Tolgus 100 years ago, all in the name of passion for our Mill, Tolgus, and its sustainable regeneration.

Fun For All Ages
FREE PANNING FOR GOLD Tolgus Stream Panning lets you sift sand with a traditional gold pan to reveal gems and hidden treasures. This undercover activity is ideal in all weather.
CREATE & PAINT POTTERY Pottery painting is fun for all the family, young and old alike. We will glaze and fire your masterpiece or you can paint and take home the same day.
THE BEAR WORKS Choose and make your new furry friend. Pick out an outfit and add a voice box, add a secret wish star and then create your new friend’s birth certificate.
There’s also a world of creativity for young families to enjoy at Cornwall Gold whatever the weather - make your own teddy bear or paint your own pottery. Plus, you can even enjoy panning for gold a FREE activity, undercover, that all ages will enjoy.

Pick A Pearl
Pick your very own pearl from a shell in our wonderful Pick-a-Pearl experience. Choose an Akoya oyster and learn all about your pearl and what makes it unique as we grade it for you in our showroom.
You can then choose the perfect setting for your new pearl from a range of silver and gold pieces and watch as we expertly set it there and then. A wonderful experience for all the family.
The Tinner’s Room at Cornwall Gold
Located at the heritage attraction Cornwall Gold, new The Tinners’ Room is a meeting room set in the heart of Cornwall, steeped in Cornish history and serving award-winning food.
The room can accommodate up to 50 people and rates are determined by half-day and full-day bookings with flexible catering options are available. We can design a bespoke package tailored to your needs for each event.
The room comes set up with a flip chart, free WIFI, parking and tap water.
