Tamar Lakes Conservation Days
Join South West Lakes’ ranger team on on selected dates in November and December for a conservation day at Tamar Lakes. We'll be improving biodiversity and habitats by clearing bramble and bracken.
No previous experience needed. We'll provide tools, training and, of course, tea and biscuits!
Dates are November 3rd and 20th, plus December 1st
The session runs from 10am to 2pm.
This is a family friendly event and all ages are welcome to attend, but we recommend children over eight due to brambles and uneven ground.
This event is part of our Connecting Communities project, which aims to help local people better connect and gain more from their local green and blue spaces. The Connecting Communities project is funded by the Government's Green Recovery Challenge Fund. The fund was developed by Defra and its Arm's-Length Bodies. It is being delivered by The National Lottery Heritage Fund in partnership with Natural England, the Environment Agency and Forestry Commission.
