Falmouth Beer Festival
Falmouth Beer Festival
Falmouth’s Princess Pavilion plays host to one of the largest and best beer festivals in the South West, organised by CAMRA Kernow (Cornwall’s branch of the Campaign for Real Ale). All tastes will be catered for with 200 or more real ales and 60+ real ciders available. Princess Pavilion is a wonderful venue with fantastic sea views, picturesque secluded gardens all within easy reach of the town centre, Falmouth Town railway station, buses, car parks and beaches. There are wheelchair access and disabled facilities.
See www.cornwall.camra.org.uk where more information will soon be available.
What is it all about?
Falmouth Beer Festival is a celebration of real ale, cider and perry. The full range of styles and flavours will be represented. In addition to the well stocked Cornish Bar, other bars will provide an excellent selection of the finest products of the brewer’s art from all over England and Wales. You can be pretty sure that every bar will have tipples you have never come across before! There will also be bottled continental beers, wines, free soft drinks for drivers; and a good range of food from the Pavilion kitchens.
Live music and entertainment will feature throughout the festival, and you can meet local brewers at a ‘meet the brewer’ session. If you are a rugby fan, don’t panic! The World Cup will be showing on a big screen TV so come along and enjoy fine beer, cider or perry whilst rooting for whichever nation you support. Another first this year will be a Cornish back drop selfie portrait area!
