The village of Angarrack is renowned for one of the best Christmas light displays in Cornwall.

Featuring lights designed and built in Angarrack, the main display includes twelve illuminated displays telling the twelve days of Christmas with the eleven pipers being 20m wide and nearly 10m tall. The twelve drummers drumming are equally impressive.

The lights are turned on on the first Saturday in December, and are illuminated between 5pm and 10,30pm every day until Twelfth Night.

Angarrack is just off the A30 at Hayle.  Heading West on the A30 take the second exit at Loggan's roundabout at Hayle and follow the road round to the left at the subsequent mini roundabout.  Go past the industrial estate and you'll see the welcome to Angarrack arch and light number 11 straight ahead!

Restricted car parking, especially on switch on night (the Pub car park will be closed for the switch on event). There is an industrial estate just off the road from the A30 which is only a few 100m from the village where you will probably be able to park.

Chairman of the Christmas lights committee, said: "We have so many lights, they are everywhere, and all the houses have their own lights. They provide a lot of pleasure to a lot of people, especially youngsters."
