The village of Angarrack is renowned for one of the best Christmas light displays in Cornwall.

Featuring lights designed and built in Angarrack, the main display includes twelve illuminated displays telling the twelve days of Christmas with the eleven pipers being 20m wide and nearly 10m tall. The twelve drummers drumming are equally impressive.

The lights are turned on on the first Saturday in December, and are illuminated between 5.30pm and 9.30pm every day until Twelfth Night. Sadly it has been decided not to have a big switch on ceremony this year.

Angarrack is just off the A30 at Hayle.  Heading West on the A30 take the second exit at Loggan's roundabout at Hayle and follow the road round to the left at the subsequent mini roundabout.

We are a small village with narrow lanes and limited parking so we would ask you to park on Marsh Lane Industrial estate and follow the circular walk around the village.
We rely on donations from the public to keep the lights up each year and don't wish to cause nuisance to residents by having cars parked everywhere..

Leave the industrial estate and you'll see the welcome to Angarrack arch and light number 11 straight ahead!

Chairman of the Christmas lights committee, said: "We have so many lights, they are everywhere, and all the houses have their own lights. They provide a lot of pleasure to a lot of people, especially youngsters."
