European Legends Link Championships
Trevose will play host of the second new event to be announced for the 2019 Staysure Tour season, the Farmfoods European Legends Links Championship.
The event will be played in the Staysure Tour’s popular Alliance format, which gives amateur golfers the opportunity to experience a golf tournament inside the ropes as they are paired with a professional golfer for two rounds in a separate competition – the action then focuses on the pros for the final round.
One of Europe’s most high-profile golfers Paul Lawrie OBE will be taking part in this year’s inaugural Farmfoods European Legends Links Championship. The Scottish professional is best known for winning The Open in 1999 and will join other stars of the Staysure Tour for the event that takes place between 20–23 June at Trevose Golf & Country Club.
This announcement comes of the back of the exciting news that golfing icon and winner of the 1991 Masters, Ian Woosnam OBE, has agreed to be the event’s official host.
The Farmfoods European Legends Links Championship involves four days of great golfing fun and action. The official Pro-Am event (Thursday 20th June 2019), the Alliance Event (June 21st & 22nd) and the final day’s play and trophy presentation (June 23rd 2019)
Whether you’re a golfer yourself and want to spectate the pros in action, or looking for a great family day out, you can register here for FREE tickets to the event.
