World Belly Board Championships
The popular traditional surf event will see more than 200 people compete in a series of races, using wooden boards which hark from a by-gone era.
Originally set up in 2003, as a memorial event for the late Arthur Traveller, The WBBC has always been about tradition; a nostalgic event, celebrating surf heritage.
The aim of the event is to gather together the lovers of traditional belly boarding and surf, in order to raise donations and awareness for the RNLI, the organisation that saves lives at sea.
This new event is strictly limited to 200 competitors
Registration for the event is £16 which includes an event t-shirt.
The World Belly Board Championships is an absolutely fantastic event largely run by volunteers, without whom it wouldn’t be possible. It promises to be great fun with a fantastic atmosphere, so do come along and get involved.
