Redruth International Mining & Pasty Festival 2019
The International Mining and Pasty Festival celebrates the UNESCO World Heritage Site in Redruth; through pasties, mining and music!
The event is focussed around the town centre and is completely free to attend. The day starts off with the creation of the gigantic ‘Redruth Pasty’ at the Miner’s Statue in Fore Street from 10am. Sponsored by many pasty ingredient suppliers and producers, once made it will be whisked off to Prima Bakeries and returned to the Miner’s Statue for 4pm to be cut up and handed out, free, to the community.

Cornwall’s new archive centre on the former Redruth Brewery site is home to over 850 years of Cornwall’s history.

There will be high-quality Cornish Food, Drink & Craft stalls throughout Fore Street, Market Strand and Market Hall all day from 10am - 5pm.
Come and join Redruth Youth Council with fun and games in St Rumon’s Gardens, Penryn Street.
Test your speed with ‘Splat the Rat!’, race some snails and have a go on the human fruit machine
STEAM STOP, Alma Place, 10am 4pm - FREE Steam rides but…. donations are always welcome and all money raised will go towards the Redruth Skate Park.
St Andrew's Church, Clinton Road 10am - 12pm Mega book sale. All books 50p each or three for £1. Also CDs, DVDs and some vinyl for sale. Refreshments (tea, coffee and homemade cakes) on sale throughout the morning.
